| Not bad - pretty catchy rock and roll. Might get it at some stage, not sure. I'm wary of double albums for a fear of filler and not enough killer. |

Since when does Nickelback play under the Baroness name?
...Damn. |

Yeah, not sure how singles go, but hopefully this isn't a highlight and is more of a draw in. Not bad, but pretty forgettable.
Agree with Ace. it's good, but a double album is gonna need some killer. Not to many "Horse Called Golgotha's", which I'm pretty sure could be considered an equivalent to this. |

All hail the irregular people, and those that think baroness now suck ass
Not to intrude on the Nickelback partay |

| I don't know why you guys are calling this Nikelback. To me it sounds like the new Baroness. The singing could have been tougher though. |

Take my boner away..
Really disappointed, but i suppose it would be unreasonable to expect them to release the blue record again. |

Overall is hella simple, average and radio/mainstream friendly rock song. To me it does resemble Nickelback a lot, not only the vocals but the approach of the song in general. |

| I hear Nickelback. But that sucked. I still have high hopes. These guys are very talented. |
|
|
|
| I bet they'd love to sell as many records as Nickelback. |

This song is garbage. Thought the Nickelback name dropping was exaggerated until I bothered to waste five minutes of my life to confirm the accuracy of those statements. |
|

|
Well, it seems I'm lucky I've listened to only one Nickelback song and I don't remember it. I really liked this song.
As I said earlier, since they are releasing a double cd I expect it to have some diversity on the songs otherwise it will be really tiring. Let's hope this direction was taken only for the song chosen as the single. |

| Definitely get a Nickelback vibe, but it's not nearly as bad as any of the songs they've ever done. Don't get me wrong though, this is pretty bad. It's like comparing shit to bigger shit. |

| I'm pissed off by this... |

If this song is any indication, it's far too late. |

Are we sure that we just went through a song from a "Sludge Metal" band? |
|
|
|
| This is definitely not what set them apart in the first place. |

Exactly, when Joe commented on it I thought it was a joke too but then I heard the song...
Written by Cynic Metalhead on 15.05.2012 at 19:28 Are we sure that we just went through a song from a "Sludge Metal" band? Well, Baroness has always being "sludge light"... Barely consider them sludge myself. This song sure as hell ain't sludge. |

| More melodic Baroness by average than on their previous records. But Nickelback? Come on, quite a collective namedrop fail that one if you ask me. They just went stoner rock mode here, not saying it was particularly good though. |
|
|
|
| Somebody posted a Nickelback comparison on Youtube and people are rolling with it... Sounds nothing like them. It's a good song, more streamlined than their past work but still good. |

Exactly! Except I rather liked it. To all the bitches - Baroness may be evolving, deal with it. |

Nope, I mentioned Nickleback yesterday in the shoutbox as soon I heard the song, nothing to do with any video. I mentioned Nickleback because that's what this sounds like. Simple as.
In fact I can't even find this supposed video. |

Weak shit. And that coming from someone who likes Baroness _because_ they're sludge-light.
Hope the rest of the album performs better and that they don't follow the way of Mastodon's latest. |

"Evolving" into radio rock...
Nonetheless, that's their choice right? It sucks if that's the case, and in such case fuck their new stuff. But I think they're onto something else, I was getting some Queens of the Stone Age vibes underneath the Nickelbackish singing, which is pretty promising to me. |

They are not evolving, because that would imply they are getting better. They are devolving. Simple as that. |

"Oh no, Baroness is making rock music! I hate them now!"
They have always had these tendencies. No matter what they write, it still sounds like Baroness. And like everyone else has said, with this being a double album, there is no way one song can represent the whole. Just look at how varied the material on Blue is. I'm not going to make an entire judgment until I hear the album, but I still dig this track. Just saw them live tonight on the Meshuggah tour and the new material sounds killer live. Baroness still packs quite a punch live, whether they are playing older or newer stuff. |

The problem is not that this is rok music, the problem is that this song is totally crap rock music in the vein of crap Nickelback. |
|

| Just listened to this again and I think the comparisons to Nickelback are very harsh... on Nickelback! haha, just kidding about that. I think the song is okay, easy-listening rock and roll. Nothing wrong with that but nothing great. Is Nickelback on this site? Just kidding again. |

I'm still failing to hear the Nickelback comparison. I mean like I said, I just saw them play two new tracks last night and they still fit in with the rest of the show pretty well. I'd like to believe that they know a little bit more about how to write songs than Nickelback does... |

Some singing near the beginning does call Kroeger's voice to mind. Other than that it's simply sub-par rock, except for some interesting riffing here and there.
I'm guessing that one of the discs will be a spawning ground for their lighter side with more songs such as this one while the other one will continue in their more traditional vein. |

Considering the amount of comments this song is generating, I don't think it's as simple as that, hence the "may". I don't know how to do italics in here otherwise I would have. |

| It's been out for two days, and it's already among my most played songs of the year. If the rest of the album is this good, then there's a strong possibility for top ten material. |

| Melody has always been an integral part of Baroness. The biggest difference between this and anything on the last two albums is the vocals. Their EPs were more psychedelic than the albums and I hear them pulling a more of that sound into present material. Again, I really like this. I don't hear POP HIT all over it and I'm wondering why some of you do? |

| Nickleback write pop-rock, in the same way Motley Crue writes pop-metal. The heaviest thing about Nickleback is the change in their pockets. |
