Anders Eek, the drummer of Norwegian doomsters Funeral, has suffered a heart attack. The following update can be found in the band's official Facebook page: "We're sorry to inform you that Anders suffered from a heart attack today. Luckily, he's still alive and kicking, and from the circumstances, he's doing well. Playing in Funeral is apparently a dangerous thing to do! More info to come."
Tragedy already struck Funeral twice, with the death of Einar Fredriksen in 2003 and Christian Loos in 2006. Fortunately, this time it wasn't fatal.

Good thing that he survived. I guess they should play faster music |

| One of the worst news I've ever heard, He's done so much for Funeral, better to say EVERYTHING, I hope he becomes better and carries on his brilliant work. |

| Unfortunate news, but at least Anders is alive. I hope he ends up all right. |
