23:20 - Lit. Ihsahn doesn't do much better. Drumming really sucks, too. Painfully meh song.
23:08 - .starrk @Unhealer: except for the fact that Serj completely ruined the song >_> Ihsahn's voice fits perfectly, then you have Serj's abomination hastily thrown in
22:56 - Jiri jrir is carlelkessly tyling to emul[atge ba dendlgish.
"Introspection", the brand new single from Ihsahn has debuted at GuitarWorld.com. Head over to that location to check it out. The song also features guest vocals from Devin Townsend and comes off Ihsahn's upcoming album entitled Eremita, which will be released on June 18th in Europe and June 19th in North America via Candlelight Records. More details about the album were previously reported here.
I haven't been bothering with Ihsahn's solo stuff - it's too progressive for me... but this song sounds pretty nice with Devin in there too. Good things seem to always come when these two work together.
It has Ihsahnic elements as always...
Screams which has a kind of gravel in it and it's not that clean and straight,
clean arpeggios with a little distortion added and smooth melodies along the way
plus a mixture of vocals in the main conclusion.
Overall, it's an average one IMO; neither the best, nor the worst.
Don't know the source, but Leprous linked this one. Since they collaborated on the album I guess it's not "illegal" or anything.
Maybe these news can be updated.
