First song ive actually liked from her solo..

Its funny tho, cuz if you showed this video to a non-metalhead they would have no idea that its metal at all, yet its on this site lol.

We have plenty of non-metal bands and artists here. At least Tarja was in a metal band before going solo.

Yea i just found it interesting, kinda shows the state of metal these days.. That its branched out so much that something as classical and kinda swanky sounding as this is actually related to metal.

The only thing metal about this is that the singer used to be in a metal band. This is about as metal as Lars Ulrich's rap project. Not that it's metalness has anything to do with quality; it sounds nice while it's playing although I don't really have any desire to replay it.

It's my opinion, but it was such a poor performance. The drummer sucked; Just look at his awful passages! As well, I don't know what Max is playing under the huge presence of keyboards; and at last, Tarja is way too far from her great days in Nightwish. Sorry, but I guess it a reality.

I agree that she is far from what she was in Nightwish but she herself have already said how hard and struggling was to sing those songs, mainly in Oceanborn era. Seems like she's saving her voice in her solo career.. Besides, this is a ballad...how do you want Mike to kick ass in the drums?
