Were you expecting something out of it? Pretty strange I guess...

Very true, I guess I hoped that they'd change a tiny bit for once...

I read it somewhere that they were trying to push their newer stuff into different direction. This song was just plain dead. Lets see how overall it'll sound.

Nothing too exciting so far. Hope the album as a whole is better.

Meh...

This is just awful, boring and uninspiring, they are getting lost.

What a sad situation of mediocrity.

I'd give the rest of the album a shot! Buildings really doesn't sound anything like the rest of the songs on the album. In fact a lot of the songs have their own unique vibe from what I've heard so far.

They lost it right after VIva Emptiness. And the way they have gone downhill I am sure they will never regain any of their old glory. I'll put on Viva Emptiness again which is their best modern day sound album. It is so dynamic and versatile and catchy without being cheesy.

I completely disagree--Night is the New Day is a really strong album and probably my favorite of theirs. I was hoping they would take that album's ideas and expand on those. This new song sounds kind of "safe" to me where there was a ton of variation on the last album. They definitely still nail the atmosphere, but something just doesn't seem as interesting as the stuff from the last album.
