Tribulation - Band Update

The ghosts from the north, or with a more familiar name, Tribulation, have released some new information about the band's recent past and near future.

This is what the Swedish death metallers posted: "It has been five years since the latest recording of Tribulation. We ended the last album cycle at the end of summer one year ago & have since been working solely on a new album. We want to say thank you & goodbye to our drummer Jakob Johansson who has parted ways with us during this process. A new drummer is soon to be introduced through this new album."

"Once again we will follow the stream down to Hvergelmer for the recording that is to take place in October & November in the fall of 2012. To our aid is also Necromorbus for this album as well."

"It took us a long time to find the right labels to work with since we have a devious way of approaching that side of the business but we eventually found the right ones. We are proud to be working with Invictus Productions and The Ajna Offensive for the coming release."

Haha, that's like saying "compose your own Metal album and upload it here, instead of writing a review of an album".

I always saw them as a nice combination of first wave black metal, thrash, and old school-style Swedish death. I've been half-assedly been on the lookout for word of a new album from them, as the last one was quite entertaining. This is good news!

Yeah this band always feels like black metal to me even though everyone calls them death. Good band though.
