Convulse - Return And Sign Deal With Svart Records
Remember Convulse? The Finns are returning to the scene 18 years after they split up to spread some more death metal. The band plans to release a vinyl EP with two brand new tracks in November and then a new full-length album in 2013 via Svart Records. Convulse will also perform at Maryland Deathfest 2013.
Vocalist/guitarist Rami Jämsä stated: "Our new material has a strong old school death metal feel to it, and the band is tighter than ever before. When recording, we plan to concentrate on the energy brought on by playing everything live - no triggers or ProTools. Nothing beats a well-rehearsed band playing live, be it on stage or in the studio."
The band had previously released two albums: World Without God (1991) and Reflections (1994).
