Epica - To Celebrate 10th Anniversary With Special Performance
On March 23rd, 2013, Epica will celebrate their 10th anniversary with a special performance entitled "Retrospect" which will take place in the Klokgebouw in Eindhoven, in their home country The Netherlands. "Retrospect" will be Epica's most ambitious project to date, joined by a 70-piece symphonic orchestra and choir, international guests and many special effects.
The band released this statement: "Epica will celebrate their 10th anniversary with a unique show. A 70-piece symphonic orchestra and choir will accompany the band at the Klokgebouw in Eindhoven (NL). Especially for this show the band has invited the Hungarian Extended Remenyi Ede Chamber Orchestra and Choir of Miskolc National Theatre, the same orchestra and choir with whom Epica recorded the highly acclaimed live album The Classical Conspiracy. This anniversary show will be a "Retrospect" on Epica's career and will contain all trademark elements you can expect from Epica."
"Tickets go on sale on the 15th of September at 10 AM (GMT+1) and will cost ?35,- + service costs until the 1st of October. They available through the following websites: www.epica.nl, www.epica-retrospect.com and www.klokgebouw.nl. Special VIP-tickets are available as well and cost ?65,- + service costs. VIPs will get early access to the venue and exclusive VIP goodies. From the 1st of October the price will increase by ?4 for both normal and VIP tickets."

And yeah she does explain less in English but I applaud her for actually giving more credit to the Dutch language for once. This band IS Dutch and some national pride isn´t bad.

Account deleted Written by Bad English on 14.09.2012 at 16:17 I don´t care when bands speak their own language in their OWN country, it is their home and if you don´t like it then don´t go to a foreign country for shows or learn the language. How would you feel if Epica suddenly started to speak English at every Dutch/Belgian show? I would feel pretty pissed because it´s an insult towards your own nationality and I am proud of my heritage, unlike a lot of people to date. As for making music for a female audience, that is rubbish, no serious band starts with the idea to only attract female fans. I have seen Epica perform twice and I assure you the crowd is filled with both male and female fans. To be honest I think crowds at for example Cannibal Corpse shows have way to few female fans.

Angela Gassow spoken english in WAO , and what is purpose speek in german if there is 60% who dont speek  ? about video , well its international bands so but I dont care I just say in dutch thay said more things how in english Well I hope french speeking are ain belgie is not fuck up anti english how France is andin small gigs I dont care but big int metal fests all shood be in englih !!! or swedish those who dont like english, why I shood learn french, let french elarn swedish
