21:13 - !J.O.O.E.! Totally forgot what that album even sounds like lel. I think I recall it being good though.
21:12 - 3rdWorld I know this is something Joe shared in last year recs thread. But seriously, this is one of the best fucking album titles I've come across. Artwork isn't shabby either. Very epic-y. [link]
21:09 - Netzach Duck me sideways, Bölzer's new shared track is awesome: [link] (submitted it as news too)
21:07 - 3rdWorld Very nice. But sounds a bit dry to me could've used some cymbals. Or Maybe thats the desolate sound they were going for.
21:06 - !J.O.O.E.! Actually a release from last year but oh well.
21:00 - !J.O.O.E.! Immense funeral / death-doom [link] feels like this year was sorely in need of something like this.
20:48 - !J.O.O.E.! no one, go to your profile page and press F5. It just changed for me.
Revocation have premiered a brand new song from their forthcoming Teratogenesis EP. The new thrash/death metal attack can be streamed exclusively over here as a little teaser before the release. The new EP will be available for free this Tuesday, September 25th, via Scion A/V Metal.
I think if they had better vox this band would be huge but the guitarist is pretty good doing lead and vox duties which is impressive in its own right.
I know a lot of people dislike the vox, but i prefer their DIY style vox over a typical death metal vocalist who practices in their room all day. Its like, Charles Elliot from Abysmal Dawn has excellent vocals, and they are actually a highlight of the band, but those styled growls suit Abysmal Dawn really well. IMO, Revocations vocals suit their style pretty well. Davidson's vocals are neither spectacular, nor do they take away from the music, if you know what I mean.
