Symphonic black metallers Obsidian Gate have recently announced some details about their upcoming album. The band decided to call it Whom The Fire Obeys. It has been a long time since the band released their last effort Colossal Christhunt in 2001 and took a break but they promise it will be worth the wait.

Markus Zeitz released the following: "A major update, including the revelation of the new album's title! There are just three songs remaining to be finalized, that means to be mixed to fit the other songs. It's quite a lot of work, and as we're doing this besides our real-life jobs, it takes a while. But it will be worth the wait, it will blast! Thanks to all who trust in us, you have a special place in our, well, let's say, putrid hearts. :-D Ahem, back to serious stuff!"

"Solemnly, we now reveal: The album will be called: Whom The Fire Obeys. Spread the news, we count on you! More updates will follow, as we continue to work on our rotten, blasting, grooving, yet symphonic baby to be unleashed, when it's finally done! ;-) Obsidian Gate returns, renewed, yet remaining to its origin! And now... I'll have a drink!"
