Edenbridge - New Album Update
News from the Edenbridge camp suggest that the band is currently working towards completing their new album. As was reported earlier this year, the Austrian symphonic metal outfit begun work on a new eighth album.
Today, the orchestra "Klangvereinigung Vienna" with conductor Gerald Mair has finished recording the orchestra parts for Edenbridge's new album (the title will be revealed soon) in the Home Music Studio Vienna by Georg Luksch last weekend.
Guitarist Lanvall added: "The result is overwhelming. We have decided to record strings, brass/woodwinds and percussion separately this time. Everything sounds more voluminous and cleaner. The musicians of the orchestra did a tremendous job. Be prepared for a real blast!"

Written by mariano on 02.10.2012 at 23:34 Even though I haven't heard a great deal female-fronted Metal this year (or any year in particular), you nailed it!  Xandria just came out of nowhere for me and blew me to kingdom come with this album. Everything you'd want in Symphonic Metal is present and I think "The Nomad's Crown" is such a monumental tune. For me that song is for 2012, what Symphony X's "Reign In Madness" was for 2011, and what Blind Guardian's "Wheel Of Time" was for 2010. A masterpiece-icing on top of an "album of the year"-cake if you know what I mean.
