Rock In Rio 2013 - Iron Maiden And Metallica Confirmed
Iron Maiden and Metallica have been confirmed as headline acts for the festival Rock In Rio 2013, in Brazil.
Iron Maiden first appeared at the inaugural Rock In Rio, supporting Queen in 1985, during their World Slavery Tour and made an historic return in 2001 headlining to over 200,000 fans shortly after Bruce and Adrian rejoined the band on the Brave New World Tour. The band will be headlining the final night on September 22nd, 2013.
Metallica commented: "We are super psyched to be returning to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for our sixth Rock in Rio on September 19, 2013."
