The promoter of ProgPower USA 2013, or prog heaven, has announced that the annual festival's kick off show for 2013 will be held on Thursday September 5th in Atlanta at Center Stage Theater. The headlining act will be Luca Turilli's Rhapsody, with an extended two hour set, along with Circle II Circle, featuring Zak Stevens (Ex-Savatage), who will play a special The Wake Of Magellan set. The opening act will be the excellent up-and-comer Sacramento progressive metal band In The Silence.

Tickets for the kick off show will go on sale on Saturday, November 17th. The middle band will be playing 90 minutes and the headliner will be playing for 135 minutes.

ProgPower USA XIV will take place from September 6th-7th, 2013 in Atlanta. The tickets will go on sale on November 10th.

    2 hours of Luca Turilli? Really?

    I didn't know that Rhapsody of Turilli had 2 hours of material/were considered prog. But whatever.

    Also, I didn't know Sacramento produced prog bands. I figured it was only homicidal rappers and my close friends that came outta there haha.
