HD pro-shot footage of a full Throes Of Dawn concert is now available at the concert organizer's official YouTube channel. The footage was shot during Throes Of Dawn's headlining performance at Highland Metalfest in Yerevan, Armenia on April 23rd, during a mini-tour in Caucasus. The show was filmed by Civilnet.AM, the audio mixing/mastering and video editing was done by Vladimir Melikyan (Zhesht Events).
Also, the band announced a line-up change. Throes Of Dawn has parted ways with the drum player Jani Martikkala. Jani has been a member in the band for 10 years. Juuso Backman will take the drummer's seat from now on. He has impressed the band with skillful and groovy playing style that is perfectly in line with the new song material Throes Of Dawn have been working with.
Juuso has previously played drums on Swath, Thales, and All Dreams Dying. Juuso shares the taste and vision of how Throes of Dawn's music should sound like, so he is considered a perfect addition to the Throes Of Dawn roster.
The band is now writing material for the follow-up to their 2010 album The Great Fleet Of Echoes.
