Rush - To Be Inducted Into Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame
It has been confirmed that progressive rock giants Rush will be inducted into Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame with the ceremony to take place on April 18th, 2013 at the Nokia Theater.
Alex Lifeson, Geddy Lee and Neil Peart released the following statement about it: "We are honored to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The 3 of us are especially appreciative of our loyal fans whose support and dedication has gone a long way to making this possible. P.S. And special thanks to our moms for voting 6000 times!"
The other 2013 inductees include Public Enemy, Heart, Randy Newman, Donna Summer and Albert King. Lou Adler and Quincy Jones will both receive the Ahmet Ertegun Award for non-performers.

Although I don't think Rock and Roll hall of fame to be the most credible thing in rock, it's great to see Rush being recognized for their amazing career..

As much as I dislike the Rock and Roll Hall of fame, congratulations to Rush and Heart. Those bands really deserve it. Now if we could just get Deep Purple, Kiss, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and Motley Crue in.
