Michael "Mike" Scaccia, guitarist of Ministry, Rigor Mortis and Revolting Cocks, died last night after suffering a heart attack on stage at the Rail Club in Fort Worth, Texas. He was 47 years old.
Frontman Bruce Corbitt stated: "My brother is gone! The only reason I am who I am is because of this man. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't even be in a band. RIP Mike Scaccia! The greatest guitar player I ever knew!"

You'll live forever in the minds and hearts of pure metalheads... I love your brilliant work, especially in Rigor Mortis' almighty "Freaks"!
R.I.P. axe-warrior, you were a great influence for many! |

Indeed... Dude worked on Psalm 69, Houses Of The Mole and Rio Grande Blood which have some of the strongest riffs Ministry ever made.
A heart attack while playing? Oh man

| RIP I don't listen to them but it is always sad to see a musician die. Especially, a day after the bassist for Iron Butterfly died. And this man was very young, 47 isn't very old. |
