Shortly after the release of his third solo album called The Raven That Refused To Sing (And Other Stories), Steven Wilson is set to embark on a world tour which will be split into two legs. The first leg covers UK and Europe whereas the second leg covers North America (including Mexico). The new album is due out on February 25th, 2013. The first leg of the tour kicks off on 1st March, whereas the second leg commences on 16th April.

The line up on the tour will be the same as the band that recorded Steven Wilson's new studio album. This includes: Guthrie Govan (lead guitar), Adam Holzman (keyboards), Theo Travis (flutes, saxes), Nick Beggs (bass guitar, stick), and Marco Minnemann (drums). Steven has been working closely with Lasse Hoile to take the visual elements of the show to the next level, in order to make the show even more of a cinematic experience.

Heheheh, well they are among my favorite band list (and I mean it) but I don't think I like them as much as you do. I only own Deadwing and Fear Of A Blank Planet which have been on constant spinning since I got them one and two years ago respectively. I also own The Incident but I'm yet to actually listen to it. I'm aware of it's somewhat lukewarm reception. I'd like to buy way more from them but they are particuarly expensive around here... Plus the whole "I work mostly with death/black/doom".

I believe you How about their non-metal era? We need to have a serious conversation. So, you have The Incident but didn't listen to it? This is just unacceptable.

I agree. Fuck the lukewarm reception, I thought The Incident was fantastic. Not necessarily my favorite, but still great.

I thought it was a good album by PT standards. It isn't embarrassing at all in their discography. They have done a lot better? Sure, but it doesn't make it any less interesting.
