Fates Warning released their last album in the distant year of 2004, FWX, but rest assured because there is new music from the progressive metal giants in the works. In fact, the band will release their 11th album next year. You can do the happy dance now.
Guitarist Jim Matheos released the following brief update confirming it: "I'm happy to say that all the music for FW11 is now written (finally!). Still some lyrics to do, but we're close. Looking forward to sharing this with you in 2013."

| Hopefully Jim follows the current of Arch/Matheos and really comes up with a knockout here. |

| I'll do the happy dance when Arch/Matheos release a new album. The last one really sullied any enthusiasm I may have for another Fates Warning album. |

I'm looking forward to listening to this, it's been a long while (I enjoyed Arch/Matheos, OSI and Redemption, but I do want a FW album).
They should have Mark Zonder back. |

| This will surely test Jim Matheos's talents. Most of Arch/Matheos writing was intended for a new FW record. Let's see what he comes up with. |
