News coming from the Orpheus camp suggest that the band is in studio working on a new album. The new album will be the band's second and follow up to their debut effort entitled Bleed The Way released in 2011.

In their own words the band states: "Thats it! Orpheus is officially back in the studio for album #2! We are stoked to be able to continue doing what we love and having you guys, the fans, supporting us and giving us all the reason to keep going no matter what hardships or hurdles come our way. We will be keeping you up to date with footage and info both here and on our official website under our Studio Diary page! We can't wait to get this stuff down and then out to you. Very proud of the absolutely gut punching goodness coming out of the band at this point!"

The Austrialian melodic death outfit is also set to release a live DVD, Orpheus - Live, come January 18th. The DVD is limited to only 100 copies and includes a full live show filmed on the 28 of July 2012 at Musicland Venue Melbourne, 4 video clips, rig rundown and footage from 2012's Amon Amarth support tour, Ye Gods Of Metal and more.
