Brutal Assault 2013 is haunting big names in Sweden these days and has announced that progressive metallers Opeth have been confirmed as one of the headliners for the 18th edition of the festival. Recently, In Flames were also confirmed as headliners and will be performing for the first time at the Brutal Assault.
Other confirmed acts are American death metallers Dying Fetus and Italian brutal death metal band Antropofagus. Fear Factory, recently announced, promise to play a very special playlist which will include all songs from the legendary album Demanufacture.
Line-up confirmed so far: Opeth, In Flames, Fear Factory, Dying Fetus, Antropofagus, Behemoth, Amorphis, Anthrax, Meshuggah, Overkill, Trivium, Marduk, As I Lay Dying, Saturnus, Ihsahn, Borknagar, Entombed, Carpathian Forest, Whitechapel, Hatebreed, Leprous, Vreid, Solefald, Benediction, Nachtmystium, Aborym, Madball, Magrudergrind, Crushing Caspars, Downset, Dr. Living Dead! Atari Teenage Riot, October File, Rotten Sound, Obscura, Cult Of Luna and Coffins.
Brutal Assault 2013 will take place this summer from August 7th-10th 2013 at the Old Army Fortress Josefov in Jaroměř, Czech Republic.
