Californian sludge/post-metal alchemists Intronaut have premiered a new song titled "Milk Leg" from their upcoming album Habitual Levitations (Instilling Words With Tones). It can be streamed over here. "Milk Leg" is also set to be released as the album's first 7" and digital single on February 5th featuring artwork by Randy Ortiz.
Habitual Levitations (Instilling Words With Tones) is bound to be released on March 19th under Century Media Records.

Leading up to the release of the album, Intronaut will be on the road with Meshuggah and Animals As Leaders in North America, followed by a European tour in April 2013.

They say it's Mastodon -Pelican influenced sound. I would say it reminds me more of older Alice In Chains and Baroness, in parts...
Anyhow, the song is the best teaser for the new album and a good motivation (at least for me) to go back and re-listen to their previous albums. This is something! |
