The Howling Void - Streaming Entire New EP
Why not start your week with some doom metal? The Howling Void have just released their new EP Runa and it is currently available for streaming in its entirety and purchase on their Bandcamp page.
According to Ryan Wilson, on this EP "the usual funeral doom has now been blended seamlessly with folk melodies and chanted vocals. For fans of Ahab, Agalloch, Drudkh, and Negură Bunget. The EP focuses on the mythic paradigm of Initiation in the Left Hand Path as represented by Woden/Wotan/Odin's journey into darkness in search of wisdom."
The physical release is coming in early summer 2013 on Solitude Productions. Runa initially had the name of Sunshine And Shadows but it was changed to suit the EP's concept/atmosphere more.
