23:59 - Netzach Czerny, I get your point but I'd say the same about "Ashes"... It just gets too droney and gaze-ish in sections. Limbs and Not Unlike the Waves are awesome though... The Mantle has this "whiskey fueled regret"-feel I adore
23:55 - Netzach Btw, AMA on Reddit with A.A Nemtheanga if anyone's interested [link]
23:51 - Czerny Reiter Ashes Against the Grain & Marrow take the cake for me. The Mantle has some sections where it loses steam and gets all too mellow.
23:45 - Overrwatcher The Mantle is beautiful. It's not technical or experimental, it's just a well-crafted album made with simple instruments. I show it to non-metalhead friends and they love it.
23:12 - Netzach 3rd, compared to those albums, The Mantle contains a lot more post-rock and acoustic/folk.
23:10 - Netzach Agalloch are so damn uneven though. The Mantle is fantastic and I also really like Marrow... but as for the rest, meh.
American death metallers Fallujah have released a new EP, entitled Nomadic yesterday. It is available on iTunes for download as of now. Additionally, guitarist Rob Maramonte has left the band, but will continue to contribute guitars in All Shall Perish.
He released a statement on his personal Facebook page that reads as follows: "Fallujah has released a new EP today entitled Nomadic and I urge all to storm iTunes and get ahold of it, as it's the band's strongest material to date! With that said, I'd thought I would also inform to any that care, that the band and I have gone our separate ways. There is absolutely no bad blood between the band and I, as those pretty gals are some of my closest friends and will always remain to be. Being apart of the band and the music we've crafted over the years is something I will always cherish and be proud of. The band has, and will always have, my support! For the time being, I'll be continuing to fill in on guitar for All Shall Perish, so expect to see this silly mug with them for the next couple of months;) Here's to you dude's and your continued success!" *end typical dude leaving band rant*
You can listen to the new track "Venom Upon The Blade" from the EP below and also "The Dead Sea" still available here.
