Behemoth - Studio Update

As previously reported, Polish extreme metallers Behemoth entered Hertz studio in Białystok, Poland to begin recording their tenth full-length album which should come out later this year via Nuclear Blast in Europe and Metal Blade in North America. The band has now released a studio update.

While we wait for the new music to be completed, guitarist/vocalist Adam "Nergal" Darski has commented on the new album: "Every piece of art is born in pain... and so is ours. We've spent last couple of months on pre-production and tracking down the songs in Hertz studio. We are producing the album collectively with help of Wieslawscy brothers and Daniel Bergstrand."

"We are driven by a mystery... exploring territories that have been unknown to us up until now. It feels exciting and very refreshing to redefine our style and yet make a strong fuckin' statement. Wait and hear..."

"To redefine our style"... back to something a little more blackened like Satanica and Zos Kia Cultus? I hope so

"exploring territories that have been unknown to us up until now"

Hmm, I don't think so. Maybe something more progressive/experimental.

Nergal is so immature.. I mean really, "strong fuckin' statement"? I cuss all the time but it just sounds so teen angsty in this situation.

Anyway all Nergal dramatics aside I'm very excited for this, its been a long time. Im not a huge Death metal fan but I've always enjoyed Behemoth's (recent) work.
pewpew.. gotcha
