Korn - Recording New Album With Brian "Head" Welch

Returning guitarist and original band member Brian "Head" Welch, James "Munky" Shaffer, Jonathan Davis, Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu, and Ray Luzier will not only be together again on-stage for shows beginning May 15th, but Korn is also in the studio recording a new album, as the band announced today. Korn's yet untitled album and first with Welch since 2003's Take A Look In The Mirror is planned to be released late summer.

Brian "Head" Welch tells Rolling Stone: "We knew we would have a blast playing together, because we love each other so much, but we really wanted to make sure the music felt right before we committed to making a whole album together. But since we got in the studio, everything just started pouring out, now I can't wait until our fans hear this stuff!"

You can watch the album trailer with the band at Buck Owens Studios in Bakersfield, California over here.

Best news I've heard in a long time. He's a christian now and Davis isn't a teenager anymore, so no Life is Peachy or Korn anymore. I would expect something like Untouchables or Issues, wich isn't bad for korn standards. But without Silveria... I dunno Whatever, I'm still excited for a new korn album.

Music was my life, music brought me to life and music is how I will be remembered long after I leave this life. When I die there will be a final waltz in my head that only I can hear.

Looks like God gave them a "Head"..

I want to see the last album's energy (no not the Skrillex mash garbage) combined with the old talent spice to make a 6/10 album so I can listen to it once or twice.. Seriously, the excitement for any Korn album has long deserted me
