Ayreon - Confirm More Guests For New Album (Update)

UPDATE: [Thanks to andreosokin]: As some of you already know, new guests have been announced for Ayreon's new double album The Theory Of Everything. As usual, Arjen Anthony Lucassen is surrounded by a constellation of stars and this time it is no different. Since the last update, Arjen has announced three new guests: progressive rock legend keyboardist Rick Wakeman (Yes), the first female singer is Cristina Scabbia (Lacuna Coil) and the final keyboardist is Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater).

What else could you ask for?

Original news, published on 21.08.2013: Ayreon or Arjen Anthony Lucassen is having a little bit of fun lately revealing more and more guests that will appear on the band's new album The Theory Of Everything. Today it was confirmed that Janne "JB" Christoffersson of Grand Magus will be one of the singers to guest on the album apart from Mr. Marco Hietala (Nightwish, Tarot). Keith Emerson (Emerson, Lake & Palmer) was also confirmed as the first keyboardist to appear on the release. You can watch the clips introducing the guests below where you also get a taste of new music.

Arjen is having guessing contests every day, so follow his Facebook page to find out more.

Yup, he updated that some days ago on his FB.
It's really cool how he got Emerson to play in his album.

This just in:

The Theory of Everything will not only be featuring Keith Emerson, but Rick Wakeman as well!
The two gods of classic prog's keyboard scene... together on one album.

This is monumental guys.

Here's another update!

While it's not yet confirmed, from the sound of the solo, it seems like Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater) will also be guesting on this album!

Holy crap, it's the HOLY TRINITY of keyboard playing, all on one album!

I generally think Ayreon has declined over the years but if Keith Emerson is playing on it... Well, I'm just gonna have to check it out.

Sadly, keyboard players will probably play one or two solos and that's it. The real deal is the the vocalists, pretty good team so far.

I only listen to Ayreon from time to time because he brings some of my faves to his works. I really enjoy anyting Anneke Van Giersbergen and Floor Jansen did with Ayreon, so I'm hoping they'll be back.

You think darkness is your ally? You merely adopted the dark. I was born in it. Molded by it. I didn't see the light until I was a man. But it was nothing to me but blinding.

If they're coming back, I doubt it'll be for this album.
Arjen said that there would be only new faces for this one. (With the obvious exception of Ed Warby, of course! )
