It has been a rough year as another fine studio project has stopped all activities until further notice. Citing the absence of "conditions or motivation" to continue further, the Portuguese prog act Vertigo Steps announced the grim news through their Facebook page.

"Vertigo Steps is officially on hold. There are at the moment no conditions or motivation to continue further, so the band will pause all activities as of now. Maybe VS will return one day later, in new molds. Maybe not. Either way: a big thank you all those who sticked in there and gave us strength, and that were somehow moved by our particular kind of emotional music. See you around these railroads of life we tread..."

Vertigo Steps was formed in 2007 and released three album as of 2013, with their most recent album Surface/Light being released last year through Ethereal Sound Works.
