Overkill - Enter The Recording Studio

American thrashers Overkill have entered the studio to begin tracking their new studio album due out sometime next year. The new material will be tracked at Gear Recording and mixed by Greg Reely, who also mixed the band's previous effort The Electric Age. Now all you have to do is wait and hope for the best!

Overkill will also be appearing on The Battle Of San Bernardino in San Bernardino, California on September 13th, supporting Iron Maiden, also with Megadeth, Anthrax, Testament, and Sabaton, before hitting North American roads in December with German thrash titans Kreator for an extensive co-headlining run.

As much as I would love it to happen, I'm afraid they can't make a great album 3rd time in a row. Hopefully they'll prove me wrong

Ironbound for me was a killer, I don't think that even the second was that good (The Electric Age), and i love Overkill a lot!!!
I don't have many hopes for the third!!!

I don't mind if they drop to something close to "Electric Age".

I look forward it too.

IU wasn't expecting any comment by him anywhere since he hasn't been on-line in 380 days

Ironbound and The Electric Age were their best albums in the last 10 years so i hope they'd continue on this standard and i am sure there is a room for even better than the last couple
