Kari Rueslåtten - Releases New Single

Former The 3rd And The Mortal vocalist Kari Rueslåtten has released her brand new single through Despotz Records. The single is a new version of the The 3rd And The Mortal song "Why So Lonely" from the band's Tears Laid In Earth album (1994), featuring a guest appearance by Nightwish's mastermind Tuomas Holopainen on piano and keyboards. Kari Rueslåtten is in the process of recording a new album to be released next year.

The single is now available through Itunes, Amazon, Spotify and Wimp, and also on vinyl.

Actually, both are good, but from different perspectives. While being a metalhead, I also am a big fan of old folk tunes and new age music. It depends entirely on tastes.

I like both versions of it as well. Her voice is as beautiful as ever.

The first thing that comes to mind when I see her name is Storm - Nordavind, and how she did the female vocals on that album.

I liked the original song more, but its still very beautiful. Hmmm, not sure about her in Nightwish, but I do prefer her alot more than Anette.
