Canadian progressive metalcore outfit Protest The Hero have unveiled the complete artwork that will grace their upcoming album Volition, found underneath the O-card cover on the digipak CD version, and the vinyl cover. The band had invited fans to join an interactive website where they could uncover the artwork and later posted the complete NSFW artwork online. Take a look at it below. Moreover, the group is also streaming online another new track, "Drumhead Trial", and you can listen to it now. It features Kayla Howran on vocals and a guitar solo by Ron Jarzombek as well.

Protest The Hero posted on Facebook: "So yesterday's album artwork experiment may not have gone as planned! We hope you still like the amazing Jeff Jordan painting we are very pleased to have as the actual album cover. It will appear beneath the Ocard cover on the digipak CD version, and it is the stand alone vinyl cover (it looks amazing that large). It also won't be bunged up with a logo (the logo will be a sticker - which you will quickly discard and forget about!)."

Their 4th studio album Volition comes out on October 29th. More album details can be found here where you can see the o-card album cover and listen to the song "Clarity".

NSFW = Not Safe For Work. Meaning it's not safe to view while at work because the artwork is too graphic in some way, shape or form. In this particular case it features nudity.

Yes, this song is a lot better than the first single they released.

To be honest I really didn't miss them on Scurrilous. However, maybe they'll suit this album better, and anyway they're good enough to not detract from the rest of it for me

As if i didn't knew it what NSFW is, Psyko.

I meant as when the fuck nude lady in artwork has become NSFW stuff? They're lot of other great NSFW artworks that exhibits more nudity than this.

I don't get your problem.

It still exhibits nudity, and not only that but also sexual scenes, since that bird essentially, appears to copulate with the nude lady in question.

Zoophilic rape... Not NSFW?

Jesus my computer is now covered in ejaculate.

Goddamn it PTH.
K†ulu - 03.10.2013 at 15:17
Well, gotta love the solo dueling section in the middle. Is that Luke playing with Ron Jarzombek? Actually I am little perplexed because I do not hear anything from Ron's style. Both songs are pretty standard PTH stuff, with strong moments on each one, so good for them.
