The forthcoming Perfect Strangers Live DVD features a show that was filmed in Melbourne, Australia in 1984 and the only full length concert film of Deep Purple - Ritchie Blackmore, Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Jon Lord and Ian Paice, at this time. Eagle Rock has now released a clip of the band performing "Black Night" taken from the imminent DVD set for release tomorrow. You can watch it here.

Another previously released clip of the song "Perfect Strangers" can still be viewed here.

Wow not good at all... guitar solo sucked and everything... not helping the legend... this is like some band you would see in a cheap Vegas lounge.

Hey it´s not bad at all!. Last solo is amazing, Ritchie always liked to improvise every song, so you must expect something weird.

Thanks to Bad English for the link, and Akula is agreed. In the other full concert film of the MK II line-up; recorded at KB Hallen in Copenhagen, Denmark in March 1972, Ritchie certainly improvised with the running the guitar neck up and down the mic stand in an epic "Space Truckin'", and I've seen a German television clip of "Child in Time" where he does the same thing......

And yes, damn good Jon Lord 'stache.....
