Koldbrann - Split With Bassist
After 10 years of cooperation, Norwegian black metal horde Koldbrann has parted ways with long-time bassist Stian Johnskareng. Stian was part of the group from the very beginning and has participated on all studio albums and EP's that the band has released so far. Commented the band: "Stian Johnskareng a.k.a. S.G.J. has decided to step down from his position as bass player in Koldbrann, after being a member of the band for 10 years. He has played bass on all releases since 2004, including the albums Moribund (2006) and Vertigo (2013). He has also been an important part of Koldbrann's live performances.
Johnskareng's last performances with Koldbrann will take place at Phantoms of Pilsen in Czech Rep. and in Erfurt, Germany, on the 25th and 26th of October. Koldbrann have the utmost respect for Johnskareng's decision and would like to thank him for his work, dedication and comradeship over all these years. We wish you all the best! Heia Drammen!"
