Two months ago, Eyehategod lost their long-time drummer Joey LaCaze who passed away. The band is now beginning to move on after a difficult period and have announced Aaron Hill as their new drummer. Hill comes by way of New Orleans' local acts Missing Monuments and Mountain Of Wizard and will have big shoes to fill.

The group performed a Joey LaCaze tribute performance at the first annual Housecore Horror Film Fest this past weekend, a set which featured Dale Crover from the Melvins behind the drum kit.

Eyehategod's new LP is moving closer to release with mixes being done by renowned sound wizard Sanford Parker. Stay tuned for further info as it becomes available.
