16:28 - Dima seems like an opportune time to link this [link]
16:20 - IronAngel If I were to describe her stuff, I'd probably say something like "psychedelic, drony rock with some gothic flair and the occasional metal-tinged riff." Or something.
16:19 - !J.O.O.E.! Lots of what's called hardcore, and also metalcore, is probably better described as being metal. I think people hear certain kinds of vocals and call it hardcore. Plenty of hardcore is punk based though.
16:17 - Kuroboshi One thing I've never understood is the distinction between metal and hardcore. Also, metal and grunge. It sounds to me like they're all part of metal. :P
Empyrios released a new album this year called Zion. If you never heard of these Italians, you can watch their new video now and get to know them. The band's vocalist Silvio Mancini conceived, filmed and edited this video from scratch for the track "Domino". The song is taken from their latest album out on Scarlet Records. Enjoy it here.
The band explained: "We're stoked to unveil the video of 'Domino', out of our latest album Zion! In support of this release, our own vocalist Silvio Mancini has put together a visual using footage from one of his audio-video installations. Even though it looks like a puddle of vomited Brancamenta®, this is a resonance experiment using fluorescent dust, a projector and sounds at selected frequencies played through a speaker. This is not meant to be a music video, it's an auxiliary visual experience. And quite an hallucinogenic one, may we add. Take a deep breath, set it to full screen/HD, enjoy the ride and share it with the world!"
Also, Empyrios will come back on the road in 2014.
