Vader has started recording their new album at Hertz Studio in Poland. The new album will be released by Nuclear Blast. The death metallers haven't shared much about their upcoming album so far, but according to their previous announcements, it will be called Straight To Hell. You can check out new photos from the drum recordings below.

Good news for those who have been waiting for the successor to Welcome To The Morbid Reich.

The band updated: "Working on new album! First huge part is almost done. James was drumming hard and fast for last week so we have the backbone of fresh Vader done! Stay in tune... more news coming soon \m/"

I was wondering this too
I think they are toms (or maybe even snares)
to add extra flavor to the kick sound maybe
who knows

I'm thinking snares. They look to shallow for toms.

Oh ok, kool. I've never heard of or seen one of those before. Found a thread explaining it on drummerworld.com. Thanks.

I wonder if they will be using the triggers on the drums like the last album. Good news at any rate the last one was pretty enjoyable.
