00:00 - !J.O.O.E.! Not sure I can hold out for the PC version of Dark Souls II. Might have to plunge for the PS3 version. This time next week I'll be playing it...
23:57 - !J.O.O.E.! More items, open, connected world with a lot of freedom, nicer art style (a lot of Demon's was quite standard and not always that interesting), a fair amount bigger. Apparently Demon's has the better multiplayer though.
23:53 - !J.O.O.E.! I'd say Dark Souls is the superior game, though Demon's has more interesting and thoughtful boss battles as opposed to Dark Souls giant bastards that just attack you relentlessly.
23:10 - moonflash I'm looking to get it for the ps3 anyway as my PC is kinda old. Hmm seems like both have their strengths. Demon's souls also only around 13€ used on amazon, so might as well get both!
23:00 - !J.O.O.E.! Really though, the gameplay of both is basically identical aside from a few things here and there (no middle roll for Demon's for example)
22:56 - !J.O.O.E.! Dark Souls is slightly easier too I think. Both are great though, you won't find Demon's Souls worse for playing DS first, even though there's fewer items and a non-open world. It has it's own strengths.
After being cancelled in 2012 and taking a year off in 2013, the Sonisphere festival will return to the UK next year and Iron Maiden and Metallica will make history when they co-headline the Sonisphere Festival in Knebworth, the very first time both bands have appeared together on a British bill, and the only concerts either band will play in the UK in 2014.
British legends Iron Maiden will bring their successful Maiden England world tour to a spectacular finale. The band will return to Europe in the summer of 2014 starting in late May with a short run of major festivals and a few select arena shows.
Next summer's performance by Metallica will see the band delivering a Metallica By Request interactive setlist spanning their entire career. Fans who purchase tickets online will be invited to vote on the setlist Metallica will play at the show. Metallica's traditional 18-song set will include the 17 top voted songs and the 18th slot will be a brand new song. Every ticket buyer will be issued a code in the next few weeks and can log their votes at Metallica's website. The same will happen on their other European dates.
Making this event even more special is the fact it marks 40 years of festivals in the legendary grounds of Knebworth House. Sonisphere 2014 marks the return to Britain of the Sonisphere Festival.
The three-day festival Sonisphere 2014 takes place from July 4th-6th at Knebworth Park. Tickets are on sale now over here.
