I think we'll go on living with whoever wins, but out of respect and the impressiveness of 13 as a sort of comeback I'd say Black Sabbath or Dream Theater's "The Enemy Within" is pretty cool too.

I think the Grammys should drop anything metal related all together. It's all a popularity contest anyway. Isn't that the point of metal? Fuck the norm and tell everything that's popular to piss off. Who cares if it wins an award or not, or if somebody says it's good or bad? If it makes you feel good, fucking listen to it! \m/

If that ever was the point of metal, it is less the point of it now than it ever has been.

(A very boring selection... not a matter of quality but... Black Sabbath? Led Zeppelin?... Anthrax? Dream Theater?... Seriously? Metal is great, is not only 5-10 bands!)

The real art being made never gets the recognition it deserves from these kind of elitist get togethers. Whether its the Grammys or those embarrassing as all fuck Spike TV Video Game or Revolver Golden God awards shows.

No Leave No Cross Unturned (Darkthrone) or Hello Nurse (A Sound Of Thunde)? Not that I was expecting there to be, anyway.
Hey, could the MS awards have a best song thing (probably write in votes only) or wouldn't that work with the winner probably only getting 50 or so votes?

    Only mainstream bands gets through.

I think its not only even on vote basis, otherwise many underrated metal bands would have been through.

Anyway, i dont care much about grammy's shit. Awards are purchased.

Had they picked almost any other son from 13, I would have said Sabbath. However, to be honest, I find little to enjoy in "God Is Dead?"

I'd give it to The Enemy Inside; even though Dream Theater's album wasn't that good, TEI is a solid single, and one of the better songs from the album.
