Shining - Postpone Finnish Shows Due To Frontman's Health
Black metallers Shining were supposed to start off a four-date Finnish tour in a few days but it has been announced that the tour will be postponed because Niklas Kvarforth has to undergo some intensive treatment for a back problem that developed during the last tour. In this case, the show will not go on.
The following statement was released about it: "He has been told by doctors that he should not travel or perform for the time being until the problem is sorted out, because to do so would risk making it worse. Unfortunately, therefore, Shining has had to postpone the scheduled Finnish tour. Please contact your ticket agencies for refunds if you have already bought your tickets. We will try and reschedule as soon as we can."

Of all the reasons you'd expect Kvarforth to need medical assistance, a back problem is probably the least likely.

That's probably why he uses drugs (amongst other reasons). That's what Phil Anselmo did during the latter years of Pantera. But yeah, back pain is the last reason I would have expected when I read that Kvarforth was undergoing "intensive therapy"
