WHA?!

How high was everyone when this was approved? It's not exactly setting high expectations for the album when the artwork looks like the kind of thing you'd expect to see for a high school art project! And probably would have been done at the last minute by a lazy student, too!

The music better be really good to justify artwork like this.

That is just laughably bad.

Worst cover and album title ever

I think this is supposed to be tongue-in-cheek. Or maybe they're paying homage to some other artist known for producing similar work.

This reminds me of all the bad illustrations of 70's and 80's sci-fi. Terrible.

Totally not gay

Let's all remember that Rocket Ride had a similarly bad cover and was a pretty good album. None of Edguy's albums really have GREAT artwork. It's not something they are known for. I trust Toby to write quality songs. I think he's one of the top handful of composers in the genre.

My thoughts exactly. Edguy is a band of goofballs, they don't take things a seriously as the rest of you macho metal heads. It's a fun, comic book style album cover in my opinion.

then

That is all I have to say.

I like it. The cover is reminiscent of so many no name album covers of the 1980s as well as video games released on such awesome systems as the Master System and Atari 2600.

The title is awesomely ridiculous.

I'm now actually interested in hearing this.

Sometimes having a really low expectation is a good thing. It means if anything about it is good will be much better received than not having high expectations met.

Same.

It's probably why I enjoyed Megadeth's Super Collider. It was amazing Dark Tranquillity's Construct disappointed me so much given I was expecting a slow down and more mediocre album.

This is AN UGLY COVER! Deserves to be on the list of ugliest covers of all time, lol.

Let's cross the fingers for the music...
Anyway i don't know if this ulgy thing would fit in my discography...:D

Mandrake was a solid power metal album. Avantasia had a few nice sing-a-long hits. And then everything went to hell.
