Ataraxie - Line-Up Changes

After releasing news in January, regarding the departure of long-time guitarist Sylvain Esteve, Ataraxie have now announced some fresh changes within their ranks. The members of the band are pleased to welcome, not one, but two new guitarists to their line-up - Hugo Gaspar and Julien Payan. Yes, Ataraxie will from now on function as a 5-piece band, with 3 guitarists on board.

The band's statement as follows: "We have the share pleasure to anounce some major changes for Ataraxie. After we auditioned many guitarists for filling Sylvain's shoes, we decided to become a five piece band. From now on, Ataraxie will have three guitarists! The new band members are Hugo Gaspar (Fatum Elisum), and Julien Payan (Void Paradigm, Mhönos, ex-Hyadningar, ex-Yuck).

"The new line-up will play at the Dordrecht Doom Day festival, on May 10th 2014, sharing the stage with Loss (USA), Worship, Lethian Dreams, Monads, Doomed and Abysmal Darkening. Some other gigs will be soon confirmed."

That festival looks sexy. Should be interesting to hear if/how their sound changes in a live setting with another guitar in the mix.
