After a fundraising campaign for their new album which collected more than 60.000 dollars, Obituary finally shared more information about the new record. The new yet-untitled album should be out this summer, probably in mid-July. The band spent the last weeks in the studio recording drums and vocals. You can also check out some of their upcoming shows below for this summer.





They shared with fans this message on their FB page: ''How is everyone doing? We have been busting our asses in the studio these past few weeks recording the new album. Sounding sick! Still a lot of work to be done with it but you are gonna shit when you hear this Beast! The past 2 days we rehearsed the live set-list because we were supposed to be getting on an airplane today to go play the Hell and Heaven Festival in Mexico but it was cancelled. That SUCKS! Did you see the line-up that was ready to go? KISS, Guns N' Roses, Twisted Sister, Lamb Of God, Carcass, Obituary, Deicide and 40 other bands along with an anticipated 80,000 fans. Would have been a cool show.... So, anyway it's back to the studio to keep knocking out this album. Drum and vocal day TODAY! I am about to lay down some drum tracks right now after I update you guys. I'll bust out a song then my brother will lay down vocals on one.
