DragonForce - New Album Detailed, New Demo Online
Rejoice DragonForce fans, since the band's new album, the follow-up to the successful The Power Within, has now been detailed. The album will be called Maximum Overload and it will be the band's debut album for new label earMUSIC, which will release it in the UK on August 18th, and it drops in the USA on Metal Blade Records on August 19th. DragonForce is also streaming a demo of a new track, "Defenders" (featuring Matt Heafy), which you can listen to below.
The album will see Trivium's Matt Heafy guest appearance on some tracks, and for the first time in the band's history, it will also feature a cover. Guess what song is it? No, you're wrong. The track covered will be Johnny Cash's "Ring Of Fire". Maximum Overload was produced by Jens Bogren at Fascination Studios in Örebro and Varberg. For further info and the band members' thoughts on the album and its cover artwork, head over to the band's official website.
