Emperor - Announce More Reunion Shows

In addition to upcoming festival appearances, Norwegian black metallers Emperor will also be performing in Japan for their 2014 reunion shows celebrating the 20th anniversary of the album In The Nightside Eclipse. If you want to see Emperor perform live, this is the moment to do it.

The band is coming to Tokyo (July 17th) and Osaka (July 18th) to celebrate this occasion. Drummer Faust will be performing with them for the European shows, but due to visa issues he will not be able to join in Japan. However, Trym has kindly agreed to step in and perform exclusively for these two shows.

Upcoming Emperor shows:

June 7 - Sweden Rock Festival
June 22 - Hellfest Open Air Festival
June 29 - Tuska Open Air Metal Festival
July 17th Tokyo, Japan
July 18th - Osaka, Japan
August 1-2 - Wacken Open Air
August 9 - Bloodstock Festival

The In The Nightside Eclipse line-up will be re-uniting to perform the album in its entirety, coinciding with the release of this 20th anniversary edition of the opus.

Supreme being
The fact that they are not playing in Norway kind of pisses me off a little. I still think they might end the "tour" with a gig in their homecountry though. We will see.
