00:29 - MetalDoomMaster I feel like I'm not getting the most out of it then haha. I've been here for 5 years, I hate my major, I still have another year left, and Houghton Michigan is boring as absolute shit.
00:29 - flightoficarus86 And then you start sounding like your dad, like I am right now. Jesus. Time to go home. Good talking.
00:27 - flightoficarus86 And don't tie down and have kids until you have made some pretty strong headway with your career. I've got a masters and am doing decent, but I wish I had gone a bit further before starting a family.
00:24 - flightoficarus86 Don't rush to be done with college though. Best years of my life. I'd go back to those times in a second.
Montreal-based death metal powerhouse Kataklysm has a treat for you today. The band released the music video for their rendition of the Sacred Reich classic "The American Way." The clip was shot by director Tommy Jones (Testament, Death Angel, Ex Deo), during their recent North American tour with Belgian gore-grinders Aborted. Check out the band's newest video below.
"Kataklysm has never covered any band before on disc in its 20 year existence," stated singer Maurizio Iacono. "We decided to change that on the new record and wanted to do something people didn't expect, but also something that stood through time. The message behind the song is still relevant now. The difference today is that it's a global problem, not only in North America but everywhere."
"I personally grew up on early thrash metal and Sacred Reich was and is one of my all-time favorite bands. It was very important that we had the blessings from the band to do this video. The guys in Sacred Reich gave us the green light and are happy that we did this. We chose to reconstruct the same type of video they did for it back in the day but in a modern day setting."
"The American Way" can be heard as a bonus track on the band's latest album Waiting For The End To Come, which was released last October via Nuclear Blast records.
