Giant Squid - New Album In October
Giant Squid is back with a new album this year! According to the band's website, the band has been tracking their new album, titled Minoans, at Louder Studios in Grass Valley, California with Tim Green (Melvins, Fucking Champs, Red Sparrows, Pleasure Forever, Karp). Their label Translation Loss will be releasing Minoans on CD/digital/vinyl simultaneously around October, 2014. You can expect more details to come soon. For those who have been waiting for the successor to The Ichthyologist and EP Cenotes, this will come as good news.
Here's what the band has said of the new material: "We got the rough mixes from Tim this week, and we've all had a chance to listen several times and absorb. We are all in gleeful agreeance - Minoans is Giant Squid's finest hour. You guys are going to need diapers."
