Carpathian Forest - Tchort And BloodPervertor Leave, Launch New Project
While Norwegian black metallers Carpathian Forest are still working on the follow-up to the 2006 Fuck You All!!!! Caput Tuum In Ano Est album, it seems the new opus won't be the only novelty on the Carpathian Forest camp. Both guitarists Tchort and Blood Pervertor have launched a new project under the name The 3rd Attempt and will be leaving Carpathian Forest to give their full attention to the new band.
Here is Blood Pervertor's comments about the news: "We are both the kind of musicians who very much enjoy what we do, both in the studio and on stage, and we wanted to be more active live than Carpathian Forest has allowed us to be over the past couple of years."
Tchort continued: "Our fans and people in the business know that we bring hunger and passion to the table, and that we are all about quality and professionalism, and everyone should expect nothing less from The 3rd Attempt."
The new band already has a first full-length album written and is currently looking to complete the line-up before concentrating on recording and performing live. Find out more about this new project on their Facebook page.

And I've been so eagerly awaiting the new CF album... guess this band is done for good. Also, I doubt that the group has been working on any studio release lately... as I've seen that they mostly tour.

Nattefrost and Vrangsinn seem to be the main songwritters, so I'm not too concerned. Looking forward to the new album, even if Fuck You All wasn't that good. As for this new band, not too interested but it will be a pleasant surprise if they come up with something cool.
