Sunn O))) - Share More About Collaboration With Scott Walker

Drone doom masters Sunn O))) and experimental musician Scott Walker recently announced a collaboration album and fans couldn't wait to know more about it. Well, the collaborative record between Scott Walker and Sunn O))) now has a title and release date. Soused, as it will be called, is set to be released on the 22nd of September. Soused will be a 5-track release. Let the anticipation begin...

According to a press release, when Sunn O)))) first approached Scott Walker about appearing on their 2009 album Monoliths & Dimensions, they didn't know what it would actually lead to. Four years on, Scott returned with something even more enticing, collaborating on Soused, a body of work he was writing with them in mind.

Recorded in London in early 2014 and produced by Scott Walker and long-time ally Peter Walsh with the assistance of musical director Mark Warman, Soused is a 5-track, 50-minute record.

Also looking forward to this but also hoping that after it Sunn go back and write a proper album by themselves, that isn't just a rehearsal demo.

Totally stoked for this one, and I really couldn't care less what they do after it, as long as it's good

I'm so excited for this. If all they ever did for the rest of time were collaborations I'd be perfectly happy, but a proper release of their own would be awesome as well. Basically what I'm saying is I'm happy either way
