Might take a bit to grow on me, but I'm not liking it as much as the first. It's still nice and a tonne of fun, but there seems to be less violin and acoustic guitars, which are what drew me to the band in the first place. The riffs are nice, and it does seem tighter and less busy, which is nice.

It's definitely a more focused effort than the debut.

I simultaneously like this better and less than Portal of I. On the one hand the music is less busy with a more clear vision and direction (the album has a nice flow to it as a result, whereas PoI was very much just a collection of songs). So the song writing feels much better this time around. But some parts stand out less and... while there are times when I like Tim's vocals more, there are also times when I like them less. That applies to the harsh vocals too actually.

Great build at the end of Pyrrhic, but I think the album needed another Forget Not.
Did the last track keep repeating for anyone else? (1st link)
