This is way heavier than what I was expecting, especially around the buildup to the 3 minute mark, but thankfully it gets balanced out later with the more mellow, folky vibe they explored with the previous album. Totally looking forward to this one, hopefully the album as a whole will retain the great blend of the two that this track has.

While I do enjoy the folkish direction on their last record, I was hoping for something leaning a bit more towards the sophomore and this song was the closest to that sound that I could ask for.

Same, but I was hoping it would go a bit furthetr than this =P it's solid but I suspect this'll be another album that I appreciate, rather than personally enjoy.

I stopped hoping for a second Raven's Eye View a while ago I do find the latest album one that "I appreciate, rather than personally enjoy" seeing that I don't play it as often as I do for the first and second albums.
