Nightrage - Reveal New Album Details, New Video Online


Today is a good day for Nightrage fans as the band just debuted a video for a new song and revealed all about their new album. Firstly, their new opus will be called The Puritan and drops on the 24th of April through Despotz Records. You can hear the first song below. These guys have sucked since their third album. Talk about worn out standard melodeath. Of course, their earlier material wasn't original or anything like that, but at least it was well done.

Agreed. I enjoyed Mörck's and Strimell's work together. Once you lose the both of them, it's like saying you have a family after losing Momma bear and Papa bear. Everything turns to crap.

Insidious was very well done; varied and made great use of all its guest vocalists. Wearing a Martyr's Crown has its moments too.

This single..... I don't know. The new vocalist sounds more like a standard melodeath/core (to be fair, so did the last vocalist, but his voice had more character) and the production hurts their typical In Flames-esque melodicism. Hopefully the rest of the album is more interesting; Insidious' single was far from the best song on that album, too.
